About

Began in September 2009, the Ministry of Seekers is a young adult group started by young adults for young adults. It is a very international group consisting of young professionals, university students and even the odd tourist/visitor.

We at the Ministry of Seekers offer young adults in Edinburgh an opportunity to explore their Christian life through exploring different prayers, engaging in faith discussions and building up a community network. We organise a wide variety of activities, within the parish of St Patrick's Church and Sacred Heart Church to across Edinburgh, and can allow for campaigning on issues that matter.

We cater to individuals, who are single or married, in their twenties, thirties or forties, who want to share their talents and faith within the parish. Our group consists of people who come from very different backgrounds and cultures, which makes us very international and diverse.

We welcome people from different denominations and promote ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue. We want to meet people who want to contribute to the Ministry of Seekers and meet like-minded individuals who want to build up a welcoming young adult social community.

We meet every fortnight on a Sunday from 5.30pm to 7pm (2nd Sundays at St Patrick's Church and 4th Sundays at Sacred Heart Church of every month).
