We the Ministry of Seekers offer a new and unique opportunity for young adults in Edinburgh to explore their Christian life through further enquiry, discussions and participation. We organise a wide variety of activities, within the parish of Saint Patrick's, to across Edinburgh, and can allow for campaigning on issues that matter.
We cater to individuals, who are single or married, in their twenties or thirties, who want to share their talents and faith within the parish. Our group consists of people who come from very different backgrounds and cultures, which makes us very international and diverse.
We are part of St. Patrick's Church, but we welcome people from different denominations and promote ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue. We want to meet people who want to contribute to Seekers and meet like-minded individuals who want to build up a welcoming young adult social community.
We meet every fortnight on a Sunday from 5.30pm to 7pm (2nd and 4th Sundays of the month).
O Lord teach me to seek you,
and reveal yourself to me when I seek you.
For I cannot seek you unless you first teach me,
nor find you unless you first reveal yourself to me.
Let me seek you in longing, and long for you in seeking.
Let me find you in love, and love you in finding.
