Catholic Apologetics: from a Vincentian perspective

'I would like to circle the globe with a band of charity' Frédéric Ozanam SVDP Founder The Daughters of Charity aim to communicate the Vincentian charism to all;

• Deepen their knowledge of the Vincentian spirit and charism in order to communicate them to others;
• Integrate their learning into their personal and communal spirituality;
• Develop skills and materials needed to eventually share the fruits of this experience within their individual ministries, their provinces and with members of the Vincentian family;
• Commit to ongoing Vincentian learning and formation after the Experience is completed.

Homelessness

Bethany Christian Trust was formed by Rev Alan Berry MBE, church minister of South Leith Baptist Church in Edinburgh at the time. He was constantly being confronted by homeless and vulnerable people coming to the church door in need of food, shelter and money. Alan felt really challenged to do something about the situation so with his wife Anne and two friends, they joined together as the founding trustees of Bethany Christian Trust. Come and listen to a representative who will give further insight into Homelessness in Edinburgh and what the Bethany Christian Trusts does to tackle this issue.
